The area I find particularly exciting is agentic assurance.
As software becomes more autonomous, the boundaries between development, testing, operations, and governance start to change.
AI agents can reason, make decisions, use tools, interact with other systems, and adapt their behaviour. That creates entirely new engineering questions.
How do you know an agent is behaving reliably? How do you evaluate non-deterministic outputs? How do you test grounding, guardrails, tool use, security, and behaviour?
And perhaps most importantly:
How do you design an AI-enabled programme so that it is assurable from Day 1?
I believe this is where quality engineering is heading—not simply testing software after it is built, but engineering trust into intelligent systems from the beginning.
That requires people willing to learn across software engineering, AI, automation, data, risk, and quality.
That is the kind of talent I want to work with.
