Our Executive Team

Kapil Godani is the CEO of NewVision Software, a SoftServe company. Over the past decade, he has built NewVision Software into a 700+ strong digital transformation and IT consulting firm, delivering technology services to enterprises across the US, Middle East, and India.

Kapil's belief is straightforward but deeply held: clients and people succeed together when the power of technology is paired with open, innovative talent. That conviction has driven NewVision Software's evolution from a niche IT services provider into a full-spectrum digital partner, and it remains the defining thread of how he leads.

He brings over 30 years of technology experience, having progressed through engineering, delivery, business development, and P&L leadership roles across organisations of varying scale, from TCS to Clarion Technologies. Kapil holds a B.E. in Electronics from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology and completed the PGPMAX programme at the Indian School of Business (ISB).

That arc, from engineer to operator to entrepreneur, has shaped a hands-on, people-first leadership style that stays close to the client and close to the work.

As COO for NewVision, Balan plays an executive role driving strategic transformation, growth, delivery and operational excellence. Under his leadership over the last 6 years, NewVision has grown multi-fold, evolving into a matrix, professionally managed IT consulting and services organisation delivering technology and business transformation to clients. His hands-on delivery style, customer-centric approach, and strong relationships with the team have helped NewVision achieve above-industry sustainable growth.

Balan brings 28+ years of experience in IT Consulting and Services. He has held various leadership positions including Global Delivery Head for a 2,000+ team relationship, Business Unit Head of a global $100M+ practice, and Onsite Programme Head for a multi-bank integration programme. He has global experience working with leading enterprises in the US, UK, and India. A technologist at heart, he started his career as an engineer and architect before moving into business development, account management, and BU leadership roles, ultimately taking on an entrepreneurial role at NewVision.

Balan completed his B.E. in Civil Engineering from College of Engineering Pune.

Balan is based in Pune, India, and in his free time will be found working on his farm or helping local entrepreneurs.
